Alice in Wonderland

In my shop I have been busy placing new items. I started designing a “ Alice in Wonderland” party. You can find invitation,

in my shop.I am planning to create a complete party, like the one you can find in earlier post.

CUPCAKE SWEETS party

My first printable kit. Everything you need for a beautiful birthday party. I designed 5 different sweets. Cupcake,  lollypop ,  sweet,  ice cup and  ice popsicles. They all look cute.

Today we made a little party of our own. I had to take pictures for my etsy shop. So we decided to make the best out of it. I styled the “party” table. We had lovely weather today. It felt like Summer, so we had a cute CUPCAKE SWEETS party outside. It was nobody’s birthday, but today my husband and I are together for 12 years!!! So that’s a reason to celebrate…..

Centerpieces for a birthday party

You see the most beautiful birthday party pictures on the web. Theme party’s with always lovely centerpieces. So for my shop at etsy I designed some different centerpieces. I started making them from my latest designs, but almost every design I have can be made into a centerpiece.

I also design centerpiece that can stand. I personally think they look so cute.

I made them for the picture, and now my daughter is having them stand in her room. She loves just to play with them, and they look lovely. So they can also be used for home décor!!!

Today I designed a new Pirate Girl. Pirate Girl theme birthdays are hot at the moment. I had already a cute girl Pirate but only her face. Now she has a body and a cute parrot. I made a birthday invitation

Theme Party

The PRINCESS crowns and PIRATE hats are now in my shop. I sell them for $ 1.90. I made the PIRATE hats smaller then the ones I first designed. Here are the pictures you can find in my shop.

Party or Birthday hat

Today I made party hats for my children. Not that we had a party, just for fun. We played pirate and princess. Even the dog from IKEA named Lola had a roll in our play.

You can make a party hat yourself. Google (yes, I google a lot) party or birthday hat and you can find free templates or masks. Use them to make your own. Print the one you choose, and use it as a mask on the paper you want. Make two holes on both sides and put elastic band trough the holes.

Make it fit the child’s head. You can let your child decorate the hat with glitters or other decoration stuff you can find in stores. It a lovely entertainment for a rainy afternoon, or on your child’s birthday party. Let all the children paint and decorate their own party hat. They will have a lot of fun!!

Mini scrapbook album

As I told earlier I love making mini scrapbooks. I found a quick and easy way to make them, and they make a lovely gift for grandparents or anyone you like. You can also use them as a little journal book.

Take journaling cards or note cards. You can buy a lot of digital journaling cards on the internet, just google digital scrapbook and you will see a lot of beautiful stuff. I personally like  JessicaSprague.com. If you use digital scrapbook journaling cards you can print as many if you like. You can also buy journaling cards in a scrapbook store, but if you look around you will see you can find journaling stuff in a lot of stores. You don’t have to spent a lot of money if you don’t want to!!

In the picture I used journaling cards from my etsy store. I printed the page 2 times. Then I cut out the journaling cards and used glue to paste them together. I made two holes with a perforator and put a ribbon to bind the mini book together. You make the mini books in 5-10 minutes.Design it the way you like!!!

Making a banner using cupcake toppers.

Today I made a little birthday banner for a friend of mine. It is a quick and easy way to make a lovely banner. I used cupcake toppers from my own shop, but you can use any image or paper you like.  I also used a picture of the birthday boy. Because I am a scrapbooker I own a 2 inch scallop punch. I used it to punch out the cupcake toppers and pictures. If you don’t own a 2 inch punch, just use scissors. And if the picture/image you use isn’t a circle, use the back of a glass, or something else, as a mask. Make sure you have enough circles for front and back side. If you are using double sided paper, this is not necessary. Then sew the front circles together with a sewing machine. One at a time and leave a little room between the circles. When you have done that, take some glue and glue the back sides on your front side circles. If you use double sided paper, you don’t need to do this of course. See here the result;

In the second picture you see a second banner I made a long time ago using different size circle punched out of scrapbook paper. It turned out lovely and is always hanging above my dinner table.

If you don’t own a sewing machine, that’s no problem. I made some time ago a banner with my little girl. We use a needle and thread. We sew the cupcake toppers together and made a banner. It’s  so easy, and a lot of fun doing it with your little one.

Cupcake wrappers

Cupcake wrappers are these days a lovely way to decorate your cupcakes. If you have for example a boy Pirate theme birthday, you can buy cupcake wrappers or toppers with a Pirate. But if you have a small budget, you can make cupcake wrappers yourself. If you google “cupcake wrappers” you find free cupcake wrappers on the internet. If you don’t like the design, just print one of them, cut out the cupcake wrapper and use it as a mask. Take any paper you like, you can find paper with our without design in stores. Draw a line alongside your cupcake wrapper mask on the paper of your choice. You can even glue a picture of your child or something else on your own made cupcake wrapper. Just use your imagination and make them just the way you like.

In my store I sell these cupcake wrappers for only $ 2.00 and I can make them from every design I sell in my store. So if you like them, but want a different design or for a baby shower or birth just leave a message at my store. For only $ 4.50 I customize them for you.

Easter scrapbooking

I started scrapbooking 4 years ago, when my daughter was born. I think I was sort off scrapbooking all my live, but 4 years ago I bought my first real scrapbook. I love making mini-scrapbooks, because you can show them easy to family and friend, and they look so cute, For Easter I made a mini matchbook. It's easy to make, I show you;

Lovely spring day

Today was a sunny spring Saturday. While I was making some new stuff for my etsy store, my little girl was colouring  one off my designs. She loves doing that. She loves to colour in as many colours as possible.

Today I made Tags for my etsy shop. It’s for the first time I am selling these. I made some as a gift for my costumers. I sell them for only $ 2.00 and I can make them in all my designs. These are the ones I posted today:
